Randy Kass-Shamoun is a dedicated Licensed Master Social Worker (LLMSW) with a profound commitment to trauma-informed care and mental health advocacy. With a Bachelor of Science in Psychology from Wayne State University and a Master of Social Work from The University of Kentucky, Randy brings a wealth of academic knowledge and practical expertise to his practice.

 

With over 20 years of experience in emergency medicine, Randy possesses a deep understanding of the complexities surrounding trauma and its impact on individuals and communities. As a Trauma-Responsive Care Certified (TRCC) professional from the University of Kentucky, Randy is equipped with the tools and insights necessary to provide compassionate and effective support to those navigating through challenging experiences.

 

Randy specializes in a diverse range of Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) modalities, including Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), Cognitive Restructuring, and Mindfulness-Based Cognitive Therapy (MBCT), among others. His integrative approach to therapy empowers individuals to cultivate resilience, develop coping strategies, and embark on a journey towards holistic well-being.
